Blackberry Storm 9500 won't turn on! Red light keeps flashing! please help!?

My BB storm died on my earlier and ive had it plugged in for an hour but the red light just keeps flashing and it wont turn on. Also, even when its not plugged in the red light is still flashing. any suggestions as whats to wrong. i do have an adapter for it, maybe its not powerful enough?
 
Take the battery out and then put it back in.

It may have "died" because of a software problem, not because the battery was dead, if this is the case only a "battery pull reset" will solve the problem.
