Blackberry Storm 2 sound quality issues?

I got one of these the other week to replace my Blackberry Pearl, but the sound quality on calls ranges from good to terrible, i am very pleased with the phone in general but this is a major problem, i dont think it is a reception things as even on three and four bars it still happens, has anyone else had the same problem??
