my boyfriend had the blackberry pearl. it kept freezing up with the little hourglass symbol. he could'nt do ANYTHING on it. and when someone would call, the phone would not even ring. it would just pop up saying missed call, and another thing was that it would always say 'unknown number; for EVERY call. so we took it to alltel and he got a new phone. the blackberry curve. i love it! and so did he at first. he has had it for about 3 or 4 days. it was working great,and we figured that the last phone, (the blackberry pearl) was just old.
well now, sadly, the new phone has begun to freeze up. very very similar to the older one. its not an hourglass, but its a little tiny wall clock symbol. its doing the same thing. it IS however letting him recieve and make calls normally, but the phone is starting to do the freeze thing. yes we have tried the battery thing many many times. nothing works. even when i hit the 'end' button, the phone remains frozen. its very fusterating.
