I've always had a Blackberry and the only reason I stayed with BB is because I have family overseas who use BBM and it's easy and cheap to communicate with them through it. I want an iPhone because I recently had my Blackberry 9700 stolen and it's just convenient for me to have an iPod and a phone in one device. My only issue is that I can't use BBM if I get it! People have told me although, that there is a program or an app that lets iPhone users communicate with Blackberry users...
My question is, would they need to download the app in order for this to work as well? Or could I just add them and they wouldn't even know if it was a blackberry or an iPhone, if that makes sense...... ?
