Okay, so.. I bought a Blackberry the other day off of e-bay. It was unlocked but I found out that it was originally locked to my carrier so I reset it to factory settings since I didn't need it to be unlocked. I called my carrier and got a blackberry data plan but it wont work cause my service is set to lowercase "edge". I called tech support and they made me do all these things: Pull out my battery, reset my phone, they reset the network, upgrade my phone, made sure data was on, made sure my network was on, go to host but I didn't receive a message back from host. I did a diagnosis test and it said that it should say "EDGE" (in caps) and that my plan isn't registering to my blackberry. I've read a lot of threads similar to mine but I didn't find any answers. Someone please help!! I also took my sim card and put it in another blackberry and it worked. When I put it back into mine it again did not work. UGH.
