blackberry help please?

i broke my motorola cliq and i am stuck using an old blackberry pearl of my boyfriends and i am wondering if i can log onto my yahoo email from it? i have tried using the internet and going to yahoo but it keeps saying username or password incorrect or something to that nature and i have made sure its all correct. i dont know what to do and i am waiting on my replacement motorla cliq hope its here tomorrow
