Blackberry Curve for Chrsitmas?

The Curve 8900 is the best phone I have had yet. Far better than the older versions of the curve. I also like the bold, but I don't have AT&T so I couldn't get it.
The curve has an awesome camera, better than most of the other blackberries that my friend's have. The default games are sick. There is plenty of room to download whatever apps you want. I think this is one of the first blackberries to have the ability to sort all your applications into folders. I find that really useful.
Basically, buy it.
 
Ok. So I'm just 14 and I'm getting a Blackberry for Christmas and I also got very high grades this year (I'm even in the Honor Roll!) So I'm thinking about getting a Blackberry Curve 8900 (Javelin) http://todoencelulares.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/blackberry-curve-8900-2.jpeg. Is this a good phone? [[Please, detail]] I was planning to get a Bold but I don't want my parents wasting to much money in a BIG BULKY PHONE that I wouldn't really like and I think I don't need 3G.

So what do you think about the Curve 8900?
