Hi,
My Blackberry Curve 8900 will not send my manual phone calls if i do not dial the arera code first. However, It will when I select one of my contact instead of a manual dial. If I call (i.e.my daugther) using my contact, then there is no problem the call goes through. If I call her manually, using the same phone number i have in my contact, I get a message that i must dial a 10 digit number.
i live in manitoba where we only have one area code and don't need to dial it unless we are calling long distance.
Anybody have any idea what is going on? I wish I could just dial any local number without having to dial the area code everytime. My colleages at work have the same phone and don't need to dial the area code.
Thanks
