Blackberry curve 8530 phone book.?

I am a sales person and want to buy the blackberry curve 8530 from metro pcs. The issue is that contacts is a very important thing when I buy a phone. Does somebody KNOW if this phone shares the phone book not only with the internal memory but it could with an external 2GB memory card? I already have a palm treo pro and it can store more than 2000 entries but I am want to switch to metro with a no contract plan.
I appreciate if someone KNOW the answer!! :) THANK U!
