blackberry curve 8520 help?

i recently purchased the blackberry on orange pay as you go and im having trouble connecting it to the internet using gprs. it will only let me connect it through wi-fi how can i change this?
 
i do not believe you can get online without paying for data plan. I also doubt that your provider has data plans with pay as you go option.
