Ok i've tried everything...
Ive upgraded my software, Ive downloaded, deleted and reinstalled the newest versions of facebook over and over, but it still wont allow me to check into facebook places. It allows me to see where my friends have checked into, but doesnt give me the option to "check in" - its simply not there! Ive also tried to change the settings, but the "share my location with facebook" is constantly greyed out, and wont let me select it! Is anyone else having this problem, and can you help? I know this works on this model of phone, as a few of my friends also have the Blackberry Curve 8520 and it works for them!!
One last note... when i upgraded my software, the GPS is no longer there in my advanced options, so i cant turn it on, although, when i had the older software and the GPS was there, it still wouldnt allow me to switch it on.
