Hello. I am a pretty dumb 15 year old in the UK. Last weekend I went with my mum to the Phones4U shop in the town I live in and set up a 24 month contract for this phone on Orange. I'm not alllowed this phone until my Birthday on the 22nd of Sept. What's happening is I'm going to give all my Birthday money to my mum which will pay gr about 10 months of the contract. Apparently she has to ring a number and she can pay all of the first 10 months at once. But I don't know much about that. I currently have a PAYG Samsung phone on Orange. The Phones4U shop has said I am keeping my phone number.. But I don't really get how that's going to work.. Oh well.
So.. What I would like to know is:
1) On the Morning of my Birthday will it be as simple as just putting the battery and SIM card in my phone, turning it on, and using it with Internet ready set up and everything?
2) Will the memory card I have in my Samsung fit and work in my BlackBerry? Or will I have to use the one they provided?
3) How do I set up my bbm account? (never had a BlackBerry before so I have no idea)
4) Would it be a LOT easier to simply go to the Phones4U store on the day before my birthday and say "hello, we got this from you last month and we're very dumb so would you mind setting it up for us so all I have to do in the morning is turn it on and go?"
5) is there anything wrong with the phone that anyone knows of?
6) how will I set up my wireless Internet?
Sorry for being such a pain, but I've never had a BlackBerry before and I'm very dumb when it comes to technical stuff..
