Blackberry buttons don't work but the phone still turns on?

I have a blackberry and I recently dropped a bottle of water on the keys and I am pretty sure it all shorted out. However, the phone still turns on but the only problem is that I cannot unlock the phone with my password. I need to get the contacts either onto my computer or another phone. How can I do this?
 
So Blackberries come equipped with a Backup Protection. You can call your provider and chances are if you've ever synced the phone online, that they have your info. You could plug the USB cable into your computer and see if you can access it that way. Or you could bring it to a corporate store and see if they can salvage any of the data you want to save. If there is a memory card installed you could always just download that info with a MicroSD adapter in your computer's SD slot. Your phone, however, sounds shot and with there being water damage, replacing it falls in your lap. None of the service providers cover water damage under insurance claims. Sorry! And good luck!
