blackberry bold 9700 connection error?

it connects to the wifi fine, but when i try using the facebook app it gives me a error message, and when i try to use google talk or anything else it never signs on it just keeps going and going, also can i use the goolge talk without internet connection like other tmobile phones, without getting charged for it
