I recently purchased an unlocked Blackberry 9000 from CEX.
The phone is on Pay As You Go and have payed the five pounds a month deal to receive internet services including Blackberry Messenger etc..
All was fine and dandy until I clicked on the Browser function on my phone and received the message:
'Your device does not currently have any Browser Configuration Service Book Entries. Please contact your service provider to enable the Browser on your Device'.
As you probably guessed, i phoned up o2 customer service who simply responded by saying things along the liens of "We have sent you your service books and your browser is good to go on our end, sorry we cannot help any further" which leads me to believe it has something to do with Blackberry.
I have "registered" my phone in the Host Route Table before this is suggested (a million times if you must know) and there is still no change.
I have a theory that because it is a Vodafone phone, and i have an o2 Sim in there, it could be because Vodafone haven't authorized the use of this phone's internet, but this is simply a hunch.
If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated and i await your responses.
Thanks in advance,
Danny. <3
