my phone was scheduled to get here on Tuesday, but i just checked UPS and the date was changed... gets here tomorrow!! :woot:

UPDATE # 2 so I just spoke with a rep from T-mobile of course to order the 9700 that I was told I couldn't get until the 16th. Well then she says "I show it was placed on the 13th and its in transit it will be there tomorrow, would you like your tracking number?" Isn't life funny, all my calling did pay off Serviiciio we've done it! LOL thanks to all the ppl at T-mo that I spoke to and actually helped me!

Well I have 2 new 9700's on their way. Big question I have is, how will this phone work without changing your blackberry plan? Right now in the Pensacola area we don't have 3G yet, so I want to keep using the Edge with the 9700. Has anyone else heard that you have to upgrade to a 3G Blackberry plan to use the 9700?

I have heard 3 different things about the data plan, guess I will just have to wait and see. I don't want to change ours, right now it's only $20 a month per line for the BB service. I am sure mine will be here by Wednesday. Hopefully they won't be sold out and back order on me like the 8900 and the 8320 did. Looking forward to having the phone. I also wonder when they will really have nation wide 3G coverage.

I have a curve that's available for a upgrade(No Data Plan on the curve) Is a Data Plan required in order to upgrade to another blackberry?

any tips... ive called a few times 3 to be exact and keep getting the same response. The cheapest price they can give me is 419 and some change. Like many of you I just upgraded to the 8900 when it first came out. help!

labevlol the only thing i can tell you is to keep trying-- the day before i made my order i got a rep telling me it was going to cost me 400+ to get it, next morning i called and they gave it to me for $217-
