blackberry 9700 or htc HTC HD2?

I like blackberry but i also like the hd2 blackberry is small in sizes and good looking screen. but hd2 looks more like better not to sure. also i heard that htc battery power is no good and blackberry has a 1500 battery in there also is it better to go on contract or pay has you go?
 
I have a Blackberry 9700 and I think its fantastic. Great battery life, fast internet and email and good physical size and build. If you were to get this I would recommend it on contract because it works out alot cheaper, using the internet etc.
