Hey everyone, I am needing some guidance here... I had done esn repair before on BB 8330 Sprint with CDMA WS without an issue but now I have been trying with two different BB's and I just cant get it done!!!
PRL, SPC, Nam all done but failed to change esn.... in both!!

Memory scans and save the file then open to change esn and NOTHING!!! I came accross this thread which I read a while back about BB's not taking esn that start with 80's but I tried with an old esn from my sons dead RAZOR V3M (does not start with 80) and nothing!! :reallysad

Can someone shine some light here please!!!
I have bugged my mom to leave sprint and come to Metro and now I cant fully flash her BB to Metro!!! I'm DEAD!!

Any ideas, suggestions, please?? :help:

Hello,

I've been flashing the BB's for a while now, and well .... Needless to say, sprint did a software update on there SPC codes...

Can anyone provide me with the New MEM address string and bit length for the new 8330m software so that I can get the SPC's on these devices...

Any help would be much appreciated ... Thanks in advanced

P.S. I've tried the software downgrade with some of these devices also and it will let me get the SPC and flash, but not it won't make calls or connect ...

Not sure why, haven't figured that out yet, but I think the new memory address will solve this problem

@eliasharo...There is a cracked copy floating around the web of version 2.7, but it is a very basic version, and will not have any of the more useful features. You will not find it on hofo as it is against forum rules. Your best bet is going to be google, but I would just go to the cdmaware website and purchase it. It is well worth the money. The newer versions all connect to a server to verify it is a valid copy so only way to get them is to buy them.

Yes there is a difference with 4.5.0 and 4.3.0.127. First 4.5 needs to be downgraded to .127. BB put a memory block on the newer OS versions.

as for the issue with not fining the SPC with your other ones, try using a different memory address. Google it, there all over the place..

this answer came from someone else hard work, don't thank me, thank the hard work of the community here at Howard forums

address 10700000 is where i read address for spc(is my phone maybe dofferent for yours) for the 8330 not the 8330m. and to load a prl disable nam lock via qxdm. and disable iota via qxdm.
