There is a vertical black bar on the left side of the plasma display. It is a little more than 2 inches wide and a little more than 2 inches from the left edge of the television.
It appears that the screen is divided into 16 equal vertical sections each having a cable at the bottom of the screen. When the one cable is disconnected from the driver board that is located below the black vertical bar, the black vertical bar goes to snow.
I have swapped the buffer board and logic board with know working boards with the same result.
Samsung tech support is useless because they just want more money so I will never buy another Samsung.
Yahoo continues to rock!
Thanks in advance for any info!
