Black Tape For A Blue Girl

i used to be really into this band. Sam Rosenthal is a creative genius, and a few of his albums are superb (Remnants of a Deeper Purity, anyone?). i haven't listened to them in a while, but yeah, i like them too. good call Cory.

as for the genre it's probably goth rock, even if there's no correlation whatsoever to the Cure.

Yeah I just got into them about a week ago and frankly, I'm very very impressed. Have'nt heard alot yet but yeah they are good.

And thanks buddy =]

;653195']I was really into these guys my Sophomore year of high school. Don't listen to 'em as much now, but they're awesome. "Knock Three Times" remains one of my favorite songs to this day.

A quick google search would reveal that they area "American darkwave band formed in 1986. Their music takes on elements of folk, arabient, dark cabaret, ethereal and neo-classical music. I would therefore classify them as avant garde/experimental and put the thread in that forum. ;)

I've known about them for over 10 years but have never listened to them.

Yeah, I saw some Opeth up there one time. But my girl has some spears, simpson, aguilera kinda stuff on my itunes, and I showed her last.fm so be expecting to tear me up for that when you see it.
