There was a question that I recently answered regarding if I supported black owned businesses. I don't fully understand what the importance of supporting a black owned business would accomplish. What if a company was white owned, asian owned, etc. why should I care so much about who owns it versus if they can meet my needs and if they treat me the consumer with respect?
On a personal note, I do support local businesses (no matter what race the owners are) versus giants like Wal mart who only have one agenda. I think it's laughable to say "support black owned" "support asian owned" etc.
