Black Christmas on Film Four

I admit is was very boring...I find most horror films from that period are. Once I watch a large proportion of a film though I can't give up on it...I need to know how it enRAB! I wonder what it was that was killing the people?

They traced the phone calls as coming from in the house. The police told Jess to get out, but of course she went upstairs and found the bodies of Margot Kidder and the woman with the glasses. She saw the killer's eye peaking through the wardrobe (that was creepy) and ran downstairs and locked herself in the basement with the killer banging on the door.

He stopped, and a few moments later Peter (her boyfriend) appeared at the basement window and smashed the glass to get in.

Next thing we see is the police arriving and kicking in the basement door to find Jess alive having killed Peter, assuming him to be the killer...

The film enRAB with a shot of the house. You hear a whisper, and then the phone rings...

I thought it was alright.

They certainly whacked a load of new stuff on the remake, in a similar way to Halloween I 'spose.....

oooh Black Christmas is one of the best slasher fils of all time i love it!! i watched it on film 4 whilst on nightshift in a mental health hospital heehee was so scary!!!

I have ordered this today from Amazon, as I can't see it in shops anywhere as apparently it has been deleted. I tend not to bother with remakes, in fact the only horror remake which I felt was worthwhile was The Hills Have Eyes

I think the original is Brilliant. and very underated. as someone said it was long before Halloween, and you can see that Halloween used a lot of the same filming techniques.
I really enjoyed it and it was definitley before it's time.
