Is there a thread on this already? I saw it yesterday and it's excellent. Well done Vue cinemas(Watford) for showng a subtitled film(Dutch with subtitles) and whether there's a different audience or not I don't know but there was no talking, noisy eating or anything distracting. A great experience.
 
I saw this film a couple of days ago. I'm not really the greatest fan of war films (usually get bored) but I thoroughly enjoyed this one. It was non-stop for 2.5 hours so it didn't get a chance to be boring. Also found it interesting to get a different perspective on WWII, especially towarRAB the end and occupied-Holland's liberation.



Yeah, I know what you mean. One of those films where you don't have to worry about those sort of annoyances. :D
 
It's good but director Paul Voerhoven (sp?) [Basic Instinct] manages to add a slightly incongruous porn aspect to it. It would have been better without it, IMHO.
