black and blue marks

My knuckles swelled about a week ago as if it were a bite. The swelling went down but a kind of soft lump appeared at mt elbow. It went away but know I have a huge black and blue mark on my left arm that goes from my shoulder to my wrist. What vould it be caused by?

With the bruise being from your elbow to your wrist you should go to the ER or call your doctor. It sounds like a bite, but I wouldn't take any chances. It could be a number of things. I think it needs to be checked out.
