Fluffy Assassin

Can anyone help. I was bird watching the other day when i noticed the strangest lttle creatures in my back garden. They were about 6 inches tall small fluffy balls with tiny stumpy legs and arms with white gloves covering their little hands. They are so fluffed up that I could not make out there eyes or mouth behind all the fur. There must have been about 20 of them, and when they saw me they all came running over, making little panting noises as they ran. When they reached where I was standing (u must be extremely bored to have read this far) they all crowded round my legs holding hands to form a circle and began to hug and squeeze my legs making little sighing noises. I have temporarily called them a gaggle of 'Huglets', until a more scientific name can be found. If anyone has seen any more Huglets can they let me know, as I believe the ones I saw on wednesday may be lost, thankyou x
