I am horrible about knowing stuff about bits so I need some help. I am using a tom thumb snaffle bit on my horse when I ride western and a full cheek snaffle when I ride english, but lately my horse has become more unresponsive with the full cheek so I was wondering if there is a stronger bit I should use. I want something that is just a little bit stronger so my horse will focus but nothing harsh if that makes sense. Any ideas?
I just need a new english bit, he does fine with the tom thumb so it's not like he has a hard mouth or anything.
wow i never knew that! but like i said i'm horrible with bits. honestly i rarely even use my reins when i'm using my TT, I will either tie a knot in them and set them around the horn or take them off completely so in my defence it's not my fault
but i really appreciate you sending me that i'm gonna switch bits right away
