bitpim and my 8940 wont talk

I cant seem to figure out why bitpim stopped reading my phone tonight. I was able 2 transfer music and pics without problems until tonight. I have the port set up on 7, but bitpim will either say it cant find it or will freeze when hunting. I have upgraded both the driver and reinstalled bitpim. any suggestions?

Maybe the port has changed?

Make sure it's using the same port (in settings) that the phone is using. (in device manager)

windows sees it on port 7, so thats what I set bitpim 2, any other ideas?

There should be two Curitel ports. Use the Packet Service Port, and not the Diagnostic one. Also, if you could move those ports down in number it might help. (COM 4 or 5 etc)

just an update, had to press ##7678 end and change the setting to USB DIAG, I cant figure out how 2 make this stay at the setting, but that's what was wrong.
