1 - How long were you in labor for?

2 - Epidural or other pain medication? And did it work?

3 - How long did you stay in the hospital for?

4 - How much did your baby weigh?

5 - Was labor as painful as you thought it would be?
 
For my first baby:
1. 2 hours
2. Epidural
3. 3 days
4. 7lb 4oz
5. Not after I had the epidural!!
 
1 my first child was 29 hours
2 Epidural, it worked wonders and fast to in about 5 mins
3 5 days..(ended up having a c section)
4 6lbs 1oz
5 H#@$ yes it was the most horrible pain i ever felt (until the epidural kicked in lol)
 
1. I was in labor for 8 1/2 hours
2. No pain medications at all.
3. I was in the hospital for 2 days, my son for 4 due to prematurity and jaundice (he was a 34 week preemie but was healthy)
4. 4lbs 4.5oz
5. Not at all. I thought labor was going to be so much worse than what it actually was. I have bad menstrual cramps every month and labor pains were just like those so it was tolerable.

5.the epidural took most of the pain away..i couldn't really feel it.
 
1. ten and a half hours after my water broke. I had been having contractions the whole day before though. They weren't painful so I don't count that as labor.

2. I had an epidural and it was great! I had it turned down for the pushing stage, but it worked how I wanted it to.

3. My son was born at 11 am on a Sunday and we went home at 3 pm on a Monday.

4. 8 lbs 9 ounces, 22 inches

5. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but I was expecting the worst!!
 
1) 4 hours
2) First I was given Stadol in my IV which I hated. It knocked me completely out, but i still felt the contractions and would wake up when having one. I then got an epidural which was heavenly as I was able to be awake!
3) i was in the hospital for 2 nights
4) 7lbs 12oz
5) the contractions were more painful then i expected, but i didn't feel the actual giving birth part as i had an epidural.
