My girlfriend never used to be the crying type, I cried more than her, but lately she has been getting so sad at times that it's just uncontrollable tears that I don't know how to help. She has been through a lot in the past year, including the introduction of birth control 5 months ago which is about when the mood swings started. I'm just wondering if anyone can help explain this because it's really straining our relationship.
