I've been stuck on this question for awhile.

Apply the four steps commonly used in genetic engineering experiments to describe the cloning of a human gene.

Perhaps the steps involve--; extraction of cells from a host organism; removal of nuclear DNA from a cell you might call the recipient cell; removal of nuclear DNA from a donor cell; insertion of donor DNA into recipient cell; development of both cells into a "mother" or medium to create sibling organisms.
