I am working on an extra credit assignment for my biochemisty class (that I desperately need every point I can get for! lol). I am terrible at all aspects of chemistry and could really use some help with one aspect of the assignment.
I understand all the various sources of mercury, and the different medical issues that arise from mercury exposure. But I am having a very difficult time explaining the actual biochemical reactions in the body that cause such detrimental effects.
Any one able to help me? Easy best answer points for anyone who knows their stuff.
I really appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!
