.bin files

I am not sure if anyone can help but I have a big problem.
I copied images and word documents to cd's and when the cd's were full the cd changed into a .bin file and now I can't open it and obtain the info on the cd's. Any assistance or direction would be greatly appreciated.

If you were on a mac I'd say it is a MacBinary Archive Format. But on windows there's tooo many apps that use a .bin extension for their files. My guess is that it is CDRWin CD Image File probably an .ISO image file. Many of the better quality CD burner apps can utilise this format directly to burn CD's.
