my friend and i are 18 / 19.. and are wanting to move out of home from our parents and rent a 2 bedroom place together. we live in qld so we are probably looking at $250 - $300 p/w.
we have looked into it a little but its hard working out how much p/week will will have to take out of our wages to pay all costs and bills.
im thinking rent, insurance for cars and belongings, gas, electricity, water, and also food costs p/w for the 2 of us.. im not including phone or internet in these calculations as we wont have a home phone and will just use our mobiles for both contacting people and for internet.
also basic details that might help with calculations, we wont be using an air-conditioner or heater. we are both fairly good as fair as water useage in showers and will of course turn lights & tv and that off when we are at work during the day. and we wont have several of the same appliances in the house either, its like 1 tv, 1 fridge, 1 freezer etc.
please help us with this. we need to get our own place as soon as we can and want to work this all out before jumping into it. so if you can give us approximat calculations for these things, it would be muchly apprieciated ! thankss heapss guys xx
