So I order the movie "1408" and set it to record at 3:00am during the night of the daylight savings switch. For some reason it only records like 30 mins or something. I called in and asked if I could get a credit. The person from India was very hard to understand trys to sell me some new package etc. I say no she then gives me 3 free PPV movies. I think cool thanks.

I watch some ppv the next week

I get my bill and see no credit for the 3 free ppv
I also see a charge for NHL centre ice. I never ordered NHL centre ice.

I call back in and the CSR said I did order it through my remote control etc. I explained I have ppv and purchases lockdown so there is no way someone int eh house could have ordered it. He also said some crap about the PPV credits are for next month and that I have to use them within 90 days or something. He tells me to call back during the week to get the NHL thing straightend out and gave me 2 months free of HD tv $20 worth to pay for the PPV movies.

I call during the week and speak to a canadian CSR. He tells me there was a problem with NHL being put on peoples accounts without them ordering it. He will get it removed and have the 2 months worth of NHL charges reversed.

I just get my bill today and NHL center ice is still there and no credits for it.

I see my credit for the HD programming but under it is 2 charges for HD this month, thus cancelling any sort of HD credit

I like expressvu but I'm finding if you have a problem with PPV just eat because it can grow it to something worse.

So do I call in again and get lied to by some overseas CSR or what?

I have sent an email to that corporate whatever email address i seen around here but I really doubt they will do anything. I'm just about ready to jump ship and get cable ugg.......

I'd also like to point out the NHL center ice says for 1999-2000 are they meaning this is for the 1999-2000 season because I was not even a subscriber then

Any advice??

Thanks

Actually he should had credited just that movie so you got a good deal by getting 3 PPV

It happens a lot... Lots of agents are not told that Express Vu system is a pain in the ass... When an agent wants to give you 3 free PPV he has to remove a theme or package, complete the procedure has he ws removing it, the add it again and in promotionnal campaing select 3 free PPV. Lots of agents just go in the 3 free PPV and click on add thinking it has been done, this is not the case. Ask for a confirmation number of the credit request

This one is gonna be toff... Agent should NEVER remove for ANY REASON center ice in the course of the season. You might have to speak to supervisor to fight that one. Ask gain for the credit request number.

Lies... PPV credits are applied right away when agents give tham

That's right, otherwise you loose them

In other words, he was just too lazy to fill a credit request, needed a upgrade to make his bonus an decided that instead he would add HD (10$ upgrade). At the end of the 2 months you would have to call to cancel it if you do not intend to keep it, it won't be automatically taken off. Also the can only remove it on the first day of your next billing cycle, so you probably would have to pay a few days

Hahahaha
Bell screws up, and he should be happy for getting 3 ppv movies after wasting his time on the phone to fix it?
Attitudes like that is what chases customers away
You can't use the Bell Dinosaur mentality, if your not happy, too bad
There are other options, and treatment like this is what cause it
So, now he has his 3 PPV credits (not for use this month, so he has now BOUGHT 3 ppv movies, and can be credited next month)
Sounds like a good scam, make people think they have ppv credits, so they buy movies, then tell them, "oh, no, you misunderstood, your credits are for next month, so enjoy....)
All of this hassle, and he STILL is billed for the Center Ice Package....

And it would be there throught the hole season...you should see a credit further if they told you they were asking it. Might be that the credit was requested too close to the billing date, or that it got denied. Call again to see the status. You would have to call again when the season is over to cancel the package cause they never cancal that package duirng th season

Of course...agent didn't say he was giving HD + a 10$ a month credit, he gave you HD channels free for 2 months. You therefore see a 10$ charge and further a 10$ credit

Next time refuse the free PPV and ask for a credit request instead... Make sure they provid a confimation number

Oversea office is not aking billing calls...they only take tech calls

You might be surprised... There is a guy in that departement who is very generous...he gave me superstation free for 6 months (a 30$ credit) for complaining about the 2 hours wait time to add it [/FONT]

To get 3 free PPV go to:http://www.bell.ca/support/PrsCSrvTv_TenAnniversary.page?form=B&EXT=XVU_OT_Q4_rewards_RM_URL and fill the form...

Ya the whle PPV thing is no problem. I really dont care about a few bucks

The NHL thing really ticks me off

On my bill it says NHL centre ice 1999 - 2000

are they meaning the the 1999 - 2000 season?

I really think the India lady put it on my account to make a sale or something

NHL Center Ice, NFL Sunday ticket, Nascar in car and all other sports packages don't count when they calculate the RPC (Revenu per call) of the agent, so it doesn't change anything as far as bonus are concerned

Are you a hockey fan?

Are you able to actually watch the NHL channels?

With all the billing errors and horror stories on this Forum, is it any wonder people use FTA's.....?

Go to the bell web site, do a search on "executive office". Contact them. They will sort it out for you.

Yeah I had the same problem for the center ice package. I was told (and recorded my last call) that this was a computer mistake and it is being fixed. I'm waiting for my 3rd bill now to see if it is removed. I also had the CSR record that I will take legal action if it is not removed and credited to me. If I miss a payment (cause I'm not paying for something I don't want) they can screw my credit rating. So I will take them to court if it is not fixed.

I called today and they say it has been approved for credit and will see all NHL charges returned on my next bill. I guess I'll wait and see what happens next month
