I had a CT scan of the cardiac soft tissue before I had my cardiac abaltion. Ablation went fine . I asked for a report of my CT scan and was surprised to find that the radiologist had found a 3-4 mm nodule in the LLLobe. and a 2 mm right middle lobe nodule. I'm stunned. The report stated that given their small size and if the patient has no risk for the development of lung cancer, no further followup is needed. Otherwise, recommend followup chest CT in 12 months. What is your opinion? Do I need to have them both biopsied and should it be now? Thank you.
