Hi,

Four years ago, I sustained a bilateral pars fx at L5. I was told that surgery for that type of fx is only about 5% effective. I know folks who will verify that (unfortunately in the 95%). I've been through the therapy, TENS, Lido patch, pain meRAB, supplements, etc.
I just heard about Vertebroplasty today, but didn't have a lot of time for research. I know it works for compression fractures, but how about a clean break. It has been 4 years, but everything breaks loose about every 3-4 months and the healing starts all over again.
Any experience? Alternatives? These cold damp spring days lay me flat!
