Bikes dirty from out west but Purdy now. Pics

My Limited was pretty wasted from the 3800 mile trip for the rally. I had a credit for a free detail at the Dealers. One of the best 'freebies' I've ever collected on!

Your bike looks great.

We hit a patch of highway that had about 8" of red mud washed across for a 1/4 mile.
I was all smiles.....It reminded me of my old TT-500 days.....but A LOT heavier(and no wheelies!)

At an estimated loaded weight of 1200lbs,the RK handled it like a dream, tale wag and all.

My wife WAS a little tense

I beg to differ...WHERE?...Oh I see it's the skipper in the grass w/ the mower, well I did that at night with the headlamps on...but I got that taken care of now...sheez you guys miss noth-in...

On our trip to Sturgis (1900 miles one way) we hit about 6 or 7 storms. Then a dirt road or two because my GPS was acting up. When we finally got there my wife asked if we should wash the bikes. I said No, lets just ride them.

Nearly every place we stopped someone would ask, "Did you guys ride those from South Carolina?". Made me smile...

Only downside was we've got permanent Grasshopper guts in the paint now. Next time I'm gonna wash those off!
