bike wreck question on campus?

I was on campus today and two bikes ran into each other and one kid broke his arm and had some cuts. There was a lot of students waiting around for the buses when this happened. My bus finally game and I got on it because it doesn't come very often. Should I have stayed or is it okay to have left. I don't want to get in trouble for leaving. The guy that ran into him stayed and there was like 6 or 7 other students still there.
and he was already on the bench off the road and everything.
yeah that is the reason why I didn't know. The guy that ran into him on his bike was there with him too so I thought it would be fine and I didn't want to ask and look stupid.
 
I think it was fine for you to go, I don't see a reason for you to be in trouble since you weren't involved. It's nice of you to be considerate. If they need a witness, you can step up at a later time.
