I have a 2004 cbr600rr that has a problem starting when it is hot. Once, it starts up, it will run all day, but if you turn it off and the temperature is around 200+, it won't start until it sits and cools off.
When trying to start it when it is hot, it turns over very slowly (or not at all if it's very hot) and acts like it has a dead battery. But, upon hooking the battery up to a charger, it reads fully charged.
Also, if you start the bike and turn it off right away, over and over again, on the 4th or 5th try, it won't start. But let it sit for 10 - 15 minutes and it will start again.
I'm pretty sure it's not the battery. Could it need a new starter? Do starters overheat?
