I am trying to get fit and would like to get on my mountain bike but the weather and the amount of traffic is a problem. I was wondering if I could use trainning rollers, whats the best type, will my mountain bike fit on them and whats the average price?
I am not a proffessional cyclist but would like the best for what I intend to use it for?

Some people like rollers, I prefer the standard trainer. Either way, you'll need to put slick tires on your bike. Knobbies won't work unless you get the type of trainer that rides on your rims.

I use the cheapest available, and its held up just fine with a LOT of hours of use. As much as 10-15 hours a week in the winter.

The gold standard would be Computrainer.

Best is a decision for you and your wallet to make.
