BIke trailers (like the ones you pull kids/dogs in) questions on them...? 10 points!?

I am going to get one so that I can bike to the park or trails with my dog instead of drive there. Once we get there my dog can run beside me (no leash law here, and its a strait shot so i can see if anyone is comming and call him to me) or play frisbee or fetch at the park.

This is what im talking about:

Are these trailers very heavy/hard to pull?
Can they go on hard packed dirt trails?
How about rock/dirt trails?
How sturdy are they, if the dog leans against the side of the trailer or stands up will it get tippy?

My dog is about 60 pounds.

Thanks, 10 points!
Yes I know they make dog ones the was just the first one i saw for an easy link for those who didnt know what I was talking about.

I would be riding through town and across a very busy street (kinda like a small town high way) to get to the park and DO NOT want my dog running beside me the whole time. That would be asking for trouble I think plus If I bike out to the trails he would have to run along side me for 7 miles before we got there and would be pooped!

My aussie is very well trained and I would get him used to it first before we went for any long rides. He wont be jumping around like crazy or anything, he knows and obeys a sit-stay/lay command. But he may lay down when he gets bord or sit up if I stop at a street or something.
