i say a multistrada 1100S all day long-- sporty enough to be fun in the twisties, but comfy enough to do a long day-- i've ridden almost all the other suggested bikes (not the duc 907), but to me, the multi is the best bet-- and not just cos its a Duc!
Dont bother with the HD-- squishy suspension, crappy front brakes, and you STILL need to put an aftermarket seat on the bootch...
