My bike's started making a nasty noise. It sounds like it's coming from the bottom bracket, and I'd describe it as a heavy clicking. It only occurs at a low cadence and when I apply a lot of pressure, for example when pulling away from a stop line in a too high a gear.
I've looked online (esp. the Sheldon Brown site) but no help so far.
The bike's 9 months / 1500 miles old, and I've been very careful with it.
Any ideas on what it could be before I take it to my local bike shop would be much appreciated.
