Bike insurance for a 17 year old on a 600cc bike?

Im 16 just now looking to do my test next year and getting a bigger bike. Would rather get a 600 gixxer/monster/street triple type bike (or similarly mid sized bike) as 125's cost a bomb as it is and would be upgrading after my 2 years anyway so would hopefully be cheaper in the long run (Iv had plenty bike experience so please dont suggest it is "too much bike for me"). What i would do would restrict it to 33BHP (please no idiots suggesting this cant be done). So my question is for a 17 year old in central scotland, how much would insurance be? Would probably only go for TPF&T although would prefer fully comp if its affordable.

"since you can't get your own insurance until you're 18." - are you sure? seen as im already insured on a scooter at 16.... :/
