On the gears that are connected to the pedal of the bike(the ones with 3 different sprockets) the larger the sprocket the harder it is to pedal, but the tire goes faster. And on the smallest sprocket its easier to pedal but the tire doesn't go as fast. What I don't get is why the pedals on the back of the bike are the opposite way, because on those gears, the smaller the sprocket the harder it is to pedal, and the larger the sprocket, the easier it is to pedal.
