Big red spots

im 27 and never really had an issue with spots. would get the odd one every now and then but the past 4 weeks i just cant get rid of them. im getting really big ones and they are really red and sore and after 2 days i can feel myself getting another one, and anoter one and another one. all on the chin too
the only thing i can think of is i took the morning after pill in jan, so might have messed with my hormones
ive tried different spot treatment gels and none work

help!
 
ok, when i woke up this mornin i had another one but its a lot bigger

its really swollen under my skin... about an inch in diameter... you think its time to go to the docs since i just cant get rid of them and i keep getting more?
 
Those sound like cysts to me and lord knows I know a lot about them! First, DO NOT pick or squeeze them--that will make them much worse. I would suggest visiting your doctor or derm (if you have one). I started getting them more and more frequently in high school and eventually ended up on antibiotics (Minocin) that worked well. I've also been on lots of topicals but I find those work better for surface acne and don't do anything for my cysts. I went on Diane 35 which was a miracle drug for me but it stopped working as well so I just switched to Yasmin--it seems to be okay but not spectacular yet.

I would suggest going now to be proactive rather than wait for them to get worse and get scarring. I waited too long and I wish I had gone earlier.

definitely sounRAB like cysts. I would go to the dermatologist immediately. It doesn't sound like you've ever had them before so hopefully after they are taken care of you'll be fine. The good news is that if you haven't been on a lot of acne medications you probably won't be immune to any.
