my question is. since the start of the final 8 format in AFL. is the number 1 team more advantaged than the team that finishes 2nd. and what is the percentages of wins in the grand final. from these 2 positions.
my reason for this question is simple. after looking at the final 8 that we have now. 1st plays 4th first up. and then there is a very good chance that they will play 3rd to make the grand final. whereas. 2nd plays 3rd and if they win that. they usually get a team that is thrown from the bottom 8. because 4th plays 2 hard games in a row. any ideas?
