Big gaping wound on dogs neck --what can I use to stitch her up?

My dog has a big gaping wound on her neck and I really can't get to to the Vet --- It needs stitches in it. Is there anything I can use to bring the skin back together again? Can I use a cotton type thread or a nylon type?

It's not bleeding but has a big open gap on her neck
