So one day my computer all of a sudden froze and then restarted, but this time as it was booting it said "Windows XP could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM". I followed the microsoft solution, i put in the Windows XP CD-ROM, started the Recovery Console but when i typed the first command line "copy c:\windows\system32\config\system" it said file or path not found. So i shut down and restarted but this time it won't even load up the CD. This time it just does the initial boot and then says "Windows XP could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM" and I press a key and it goes back to the initial boot and does the same cycle. The problem is it won't even recognize the CD, any help on how to fix this entire problem would be of great help. Thanks
