I purchased a Pacific Evolution bicycle about a month ago (I know, they're not good bikes, but that is what I can afford). My brake pads need to be replaced, the derailleurs need to be adjusted as do the brakes. Also today, my chain popped off, knocked off the chain guard, and now the chain will not stay on any of the front gears, it just comes off. Which would be the best/cheapest method to fixing all of these issues? Taking it to the bicycle shop and paying someone to fix all of it? Fixing it myself? Purchasing a new bicycle?
